Favorite Activities: Maisha is more concerned with “stirring the pot” than trying to assert his dominance. The youngest of Great Ape Trust’s resident bonobos, he is growing up quickly. Those who know him say he is very “power hungry” and is working to establish his place in the group. He loves spending time with Panbanisha.
What makes Maisha unique?
He interacts with caretakers in a way that is uniquely Maisha. He does a full-body wiggle or jiggle by shrugging and shaking his shoulders.
